A Study on the Amount of Protein in Keratin for College Woman Students

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to estimate a difference of the protein amount in keratin of each skin type for college woman students. And the factors``s influence on the amount protein in keratin was analysed. This research was performed to 389 college woman students who live in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do from september 4th in 2011 to october 11th in 2011. The results of this study will be the basis of skin care for college woman students and be used as the index data for the scientific managing the skin care. The average amount of protein on nose showed considerable difference between students majoring skin care or not(p<0.05). And the average amount of protein on nose was considerably affected by regular meal. The average amount of protein on the cheek of doing deep-cleansing 4 times per month was less than that of not doing deep-cleansing 4 times per month. In this study, the amount of protein for collage woman students was affected by skin care methods such as doing double cleansing, doing deep-cleansing. And it was also affected by factors of lifestyle and environment such as regular meal.
